Cow Bank Program

ADRA Indonesia handed over a cow symbolically to one of the beneficiaries (represented by one of the village heads).
From 40 local cows lended by ADRA, within a year (May 2010 - April 2011), there were 19 calves born. The beneficiaries were taking care of the cows and breeding them with new hope after 6 years of slow post-disaster development. For them it was like a "yesterday's" disaster.
One of ADRA staffs conducted livestock training.
Chicken Pass-on Program

A veterinarian from Aceh Jaya Regency Agriculture & Livestock Office gave a training on chicken vaccination.
Thank you ADRA Canada for your continued support!
